Introduction

        
Further reference regarding of Cultural Object must be done extensively in order to understand the 3D structure concept. Wire and mix media material will be gathered and students need to identify the best possible ways in reuse it for 3D object construction. The construction and structure understanding in earlier task will be applied in the final task.

Task

         
Design Fundamentals is the exploration of the elements that make up the rules of design and can be applied to almost any discipline graphics Fashion or product design, so a usful lesion that can be applied your working day to day life. 

Design fundamentals material list:

• Mahjong Paper 
• Black Marker
• Masking Tape
• Board for drawing 
• Cutter 
• Pencil
• A3 Card 

Task 1 Exploring Line

You will be asked to explore line and shape through line drawing, this will be in the form of visually looking and exploring using a view finder, to cut out all the visual noise. Take an A3 card and cut a rectangular window in the card in proportion to the piece of paper that you will be working on.

Using the viewfinder, you will explore line using the finder as an eye for composition, just draw the shapes you see in the composite window. 

We will except 6 drawings from you at this stage.

Task 2 Exploring Colour

You will take scans from your line drawings and use them as a template to explore the use of colour, we will give you a free range on your colour palate.

Save your drawings as jpegs and copy them into your laptop, you will need Photoshop and illustrator for the next few tasks. 

Take the scans and manipulate the drawings into 3 abstract or a visual representations of the lines you have created we will need to see 3 different out puts from your colour studies. You can use line as an overlay to create a new image if you so desire.

The first painting, after making the line on the painting it was inserted into the photoshop and transformed it into a more beautiful and unique look with a white line and a black background. The painting looks like a stray rope.

The second painting, after making the drawing line inserted into photoshop and turning it into more beautiful and unique with the circle around everywhere and with many colors like orange, yellow and green. This painting is like a group.

The third painting, after making the drawing line inserted into photoshop and making it more beautiful and unique with a black line and background like color brown. This painting is also like a flower.

The fourth painting, after creating a drawing line is inserted into photoshop and makes it more beautiful and unique with green lines and green and white backgrounds. This painting also looks like a bridge if the view from above.

The fifth painting, after creating a drawing line, is inserted into photoshop and makes it more beautiful and unique by inserting with a variety of colors and also an attractive design change. This painting also looks like a spider.

6.

The last painting, after creating a drawing line is inserted into photoshop and making it more beautiful and unique with lots of lines with a very interesting purple and black background color. This painting also looks like a bat.

Task 3 Exploring Texture

For this task you will be expected to collect object that can be used for texture, example multiples of everyday objects such as:

• Sate Stick 
• Straws
• Plastic Spoon 
• White Card Board 
• Hot Glue Gun 
• Spray Colour

You can collect these objects before we start the project it will save time later, you will also need to  buy 3 plain white boxes, these will be used to mount your found objects on, you can use hot glue gun to stick the objects to.

The final part to the project will be to spray the boxes using just one colour, using a single cour enhances the surface of the design and will show the texture of the object. 

(Texture For Sate Stick)

This texture I use satay stick to make texture, this texture also I make horizontal according to the creativity I have by using a yellow sprayer.

(Texture For Plastic Spoon)
This texture I use a plastic spoon to make texture, this texture also I make horizontal and vertical according to the creativity I have with a blue spray.

(Texture For Straws)
This texture I use straws to make a texture, this texture I make as an upward and down arrow it also follows the creativity I have. It also looks interesting in texture.

Task 4 Exploring Form

For this task you will explore shape using wire, you will either take original drawings and translate them into 3D objects that have form, after you have made wire objects you will spray them black this will enhance the shape and describe it in as a more concrete image. 

This is my first attempt to explore the form. I created this form by deleting the printed form on the paper. I cut and then fold it into the resulting shape.

Task 5 Exploring Form

Using photography, you will explore replication using Photography and software. Take a series of photography that are representational of a theme, this could be: 

• Nature
• Man Made
• Found Objects 

From this point you will create a series of texture using replication in Photoshop, you will create 3 designs that best reflect the chosen area of study. 

Why I choose this form, because it's easy for me to do it, and it also fits into the chosen subject form.

This Is My Exploring Form: Origami Pyramid Shapes 

First I need to measure the paper before starting the form of folding the pyramid. Measure as above 15 cm and 10 cm in diameter and in the center for 5 cm folding.

Once ready with a folding it will be a pyramid shape as with my choice.

Finally, finish with that form I continue with the combination of creativity I have and that I like.
